Regional Parties Weakning India

The mashrooming of political parties in India formed by self serving regional or local leaders to further their own political interest are working against our national interest. Most such parties are formed with a single point agenda, which is to grab power by any means. These parties do not have leaders of national stature and lack of vision or motivation to achieve genuine good for the country. If this thrend is left unchecked, it will only weaken national unity with these parties acting as agents of fragmentation. We must encourage a two-party system rather then have hundreds of nondescript groupings clamouring to gain power without responsibility.
